From 2019 to 2022, Jonny Boufarhat kickstarted Hopin on a legendary journey to $100M ARR in under 18 months. Over this time Hopin deployed a suite of audience engagement tools, including StreamYard, Session, Streamable, and, Hopin Events. While usage diminished in line with the post-COVID real world resumption, Johnny was able to sell the business and take his learnings forward.

Audrey Miller

Patrick is both a former web developer and mechanical engineer. This enables him to get into the weeds with Repeat founders and truly understand the how they are looking to solve real-world problems.

He founded Tapestry VC in 2018 and has now spent over a decade as a Seed stage investor focused on Repeat founders globally. In recent years, he has partnered with supported the founders of some of the US & Europe's fastest-growing start ups.

Patrick spent the early part of his career advising top technology companies at Goldman Sachs. In 2014, he then, started and ran a VC fund for Universal Music Group, which had invested in Spotify, Shazam, Uber, TikTok, Houseparty, Stance and more.

From his work with Nothing, Hopin & Ladder, Patrick has established himself as a leadiing voice in the industry, His words & views having have been quoted in the FT, Forbes, Axios, Business Insider, TechCrunch & Irish Times.

In his spare time he is an avid sea swimmer and coffee sipper when at home in San Francisco, and prefers running and reading when on the road in Europe or New York.

Managing Partner

Audrey joined the firm in 2020 bringing her prior experience as a start up operator and advising late stage companies.

Prior to joining Tapestry VC, Audrey founded a fintech startup within Entrepreneur First in the UK. After, she began helping other founders on storytelling & financing - and discovered VC through angel investing.

Audrey works with and has led investments in numerous breakout portfolio companies including Relay, Sunrise Robotics, Manna, Seapoint, Ichi, Sustain.Left, Requesty, Corner and more.

She started her career at Goldman Sachs in London and San Francisco, where she worked on numerous deals with a number of high profile tech founders. Before GS, she graduated summa cum laude from Stanford University.

Audrey grew up between NYC & Uruguay. She lived in SF/Bay Area for almost a decade and is now London-based. She speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently & spends most of her free time producing music.

Robert Dobie
Robert Dobie

David has been actively involved in the European and international technology scene for over a decade, and started angel investing in 2014. Before co-founding Tapestry VC he helped grow some of the world’s largest startup gatherings in Europe, US and Asia.

His time building global events saw David build an internatinal network of the most influential tech founders of a generation, when Uber, Tesla, Slack, Facebook, Deliveroo, Revolut & Canva attended. He has also been featured as a speaker at numerous global events including Saastr, SaaStock and more.

He has been a partner at Tapestry VC since its founding, and been instrumental in many of our top deals incl. Hopin, Manna & Loctax.

Before working in tech, David graduated with a BSc in International Business from DCU, Dublin and ICADE, Madrid.

David now splits his time between Dublin, London & Lisbon, when not crisscrossing Europe's other capital cities to meet with founders. He is an active father and football coach of three boys. He speaks English, Spanish and is improving his Portuguese.

Robert is an experienced finance professional and his role at Tapestry VC covers everything from portfolio support, investor relations, modelling how capital is deployed, executing deals, valuing companies, fundraising, and creating much of the external material for events and our investors.

Until mid-2024, Robert was a key part of the finance team at Seedcamp, one of Europe’s leading Pre-Seed/Seed funds. He managed investor reporting, portfolio monitoring and fund finance for six core funds and numerous co-invest vehicles.

Before moving into VC, he attained both ACA and CTA qualifications while training in the Private Wealth team at Saffery Champness, a top UK firm providing compliance and advisory services to family offices. Prior to Saffery, he studied Economics at Newcastle University.

Now based in London, Robert grew up in the Scottish countryside and has worked abroad in Japan, India, New Zealand and Canada.
